Halo Essentials Studio Policy

Please Read Before Booking!

By Booking with Halo Essentials Studio you Agree To Our Booking Policies:

Please be aware by making an appointment you acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Halo Essentials Studio reserves the right to cancel, delay, shorten or change treatments where reasonably necessary due to the effects of any of the provisions below.

Booking Appointments

All Appointments require a VALID Debit/Credit Card on File to secure appointments. For services over $70, a 30% deposit is required. Please note that prices and services are subject to change. All bookings can be made through GlossGenius.

To ensure availability, we recommend booking your treatment in advance by calling, texting, or emailing us. You’ll receive a reminder SMS the day before your appointment, allowing you to confirm, reschedule, or cancel if needed. If you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer the spot to another client.App. Deposits are non-refundable. Deposits are non-transferable within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment.

Location:

All Spa services will be provided in at 308 Unionville Indian Trail Rd W., Unit C, Indian Trail, NC 28079. If the Beauty & Spa Technician hired is traveling please provide an area where the Beauty & Spa Technician can set up with an outlet plug and/or window near by. If the Beauty & Spa Technician at any point feels unsafe or is being verbal or physically abused, the Beauty & Spa Technician has the right to cancel the schedule appointment and leave the location.

Due to the nature of services and intimate environment, Children and Guests that are not being serviced can wait inside the lobby area!

Tardiness:

If a client is 10 minutes late to their appointment, a $10 fee will apply. If a client is 15 minutes late with or without notice, the appointment will be canceled, and 50% of the service cost will be charged. 


We understand that delays can happen and will do our best to accommodate late arrivals (up to 15 minutes) by providing the most complete treatment possible in the remaining time at full price. However, arriving more than 15 minutes late will result in full charges, and no future appointments can be booked until the balance is paid.

To ensure a smooth experience, we recommend planning ahead for your visit to Halo Essentials Studio Feel free to contact us with any questions about our location, parking, or travel options.

Cancellations:

At Halo Essentials Studio, we understand that unexpected situations can arise. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. You can make changes to your appointment through your booking link.

For same-day cancellations, a fee of 50% of the scheduled service cost will apply. No-shows or cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will also incur a 50% charge. Additionally, any outstanding cancellation or no-show fees must be settled before booking future appointments.

Thank you for respecting our policy, as we reserve time exclusively for you by turning away other clients. Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to adjust your booking.

Refund Policy- Products/Services

Due to personal hygiene and health and safety considerations, we cannot offer refunds on products once sold. If a product is faulty, we will send it to the manufacturer for review. Please note that all sales are final, and refunds or exchanges cannot be made after purchase.

Our treatments are performed by qualified professionals. If you are unsatisfied with a treatment, please inform your Esthetician and follow our complaints procedure (detailed below). While we do not issue refunds on treatments, we will address your concerns promptly and work to resolve the matter as soon as possible.

In keeping with our commitment to cleanliness, safety and hygiene, our equipment is sterilized and sanitized after every service and treatment!

Please keep your personal belongings with you at all times, and leave any valuables at home.

Guest - Children

Children are allowed in the salon but must be well behaved and not cause any disturbance to any other customers' treatments. They must also not touch any stock within the salon.

Complaint Procedure

At Halo Essentials Studio, our goal is to ensure that every client is delighted with the service they receive. However, we understand that occasionally things may not go as expected. If this happens, we are committed to resolving any issues as quickly as possible. This procedure explains how to bring any concerns to our attention if you are not satisfied with your experience.

We take all feedback seriously, and each complaint will be documented and reviewed to determine any necessary actions to prevent future occurrences.

The quickest way to address any issue is to speak directly with your therapist, who will listen carefully and make every effort to resolve your concern. Please provide as much detail as possible, including the date and time of your appointment, the specific treatment, and the nature of your complaint.

We aim to assess and respond to all written complaints within 48 hours of receipt.

Client Questionnaire & Health Guidelines:

All new clients are required to complete a Client Questionnaire before any treatments can be performed. If this form is not completed, we will be unable to proceed with your treatment. Please use the form to inform us of any health conditions, allergies, or injuries that may affect your service. It is also your responsibility to notify us of any changes to your health or circumstances before each treatment.

For accurate and up-to-date records, we may also ask you to complete the Client Questionnaire every six months.

Staff Illnesses

In the event of a staff illness or an emergency, we may need to cancel your appointment. If we are unable to reschedule you on the same day, we will rebook your appointment for a later date. We will notify you as soon as possible if a cancellation is necessary. Thank you for your understanding.

Our skin care products that are used cater to all skin types and skin tones and are suitable for sensitive skin. Due to our intimate environment we ask that guest who are receiving services come without extra guest. For your safety, no outside visitors of any shape/size are permitted in treatment rooms (i.e., infants, pets, boy/girlfriends, etc.). We love kids!!! However, children under the age of 13 are not permitted.  We have many breakables. Mirrors that are fun to smack, open spaces that call to the young at heart to run back and forth in, dangerous equipment that looks fascinating to touch, etc


Client(s) agree to release the Esthetician, Angel Watkins, Halo Essentials Studio L.L.C, Halo Essentials Studio and all employees and agents from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.

Can I get waxed with while menstruating?

If you’re menstruating, no worries, you can still get waxed. Please just wear a tampon or cup.

How long should my hair be for my wax appointment?

It depends on the area. After shaving, please allow 10-14 days. If you have waxed, please allow your hair to grow for at least 4 to 6 weeks before scheduling your wax.

How long should I prep my skin for my wax appointment?

Exfoliate at least 2 days prior to your appointment (not the day of). This will prepare the hair to come out with ease. This excludes facial hair.

What should I wear to my wax appointment?

Wear comfy, loose clothing, nothing tight.

How so we protect out clients?

No Double-Dip Policy: We use only sanitary equipment and enforce the strict "No Double-Dip Policy," which means that the same spatula will never be re-dipped into the wax pot.


We always wear disposable Latex fee gloves.

We use hospital grade sanitation for our tweezers and other metal tools.

What kind of wax do you use?

Our technique incorporates a specific combination of hard and soft waxes, so you don't have to choose. From the texture of your hair, skin, and any sensitivities you may have,. we'll decide what's best for you based on what we see.

Is it safe to wax while pregnant?

Yes, absolutely. Pregnant women can safely receive many treatments, provided they are beyond the first trimester. If you’re uncertain, please consult with your physician.

Is it safe to wax while on medication?

You should definitely NOT wax if you are on blood thinners or Retin-A.

How do I take care of my skin after waxing?

Try to avoid sex, exercises, swimming,  and sunbathing for 24 hours. Moisturize daily with an organic oil. Exfoliate 3-4 times per week. Halo Essentials Studios sells an exfoliant.

Age Restrictions

Clients must be 18 or older to receive treatments. For anyone under 18, written parental consent is required for all treatments. We reserve the right to decline services for any guest under the age of consent.
